SKAL International has recently signed an exclusive partnership agreement with Travelindex ( ), the world’s largest travel directory with direct connect contacts, by which Travelindex shall provide various services for the benefit of SKAL members and, by extension, to the global travel trade.

V. Salih Cene, Director of Development & Business Affairs, SKAL International, said: “I’m glad we are now [a] partner with Travelindex, thus creating a strong partnership within the travel industry. With Travelindex, we have a new information distribution channel about SKAL International and an avenue for creating exposure to our 20,000 industry professionals, while attracting new members, in particular young SKAL members.”

Once a SKAL member has registered at Travelindex, s/he will have exclusive access to the advance review system, allowing the member to review the 400,000 travel businesses at Travelindex. By contributing expert evaluations and reviews to the first travel website with professional-only reviews, SKAL members will not only earn advertising rewards, but help others making an informed choice while providing companies with essential customer insight. Part of the joy of social networking is the sharing of opinion that builds brand loyalty and contributes to the freedom of travel.

Travelindex Founder, Bernard A. Metzger, said: “Since 1934, SKAL encourages the strengthening of the travel industry’s professionalism, while promoting tourism and friendship. We are very proud to have entered into partnership with such an eminent organization and look forward contributing to SKAL’s voice by creating more direct contact opportunities and doing more business among friends.”
